Brief Description

The project “VIP from the Age of 14” was carried on between September 2005 and September 2006 in the placement centres of Sectors 5 and 6 in Bucharest, as well as in the residential structures of A.S.I.S. (two social apartments and a residential centre/ service for independent life skills).
This programme was a follow-up to the project “VIP at the Age of 18” (for the age group of 14 – 18 years and over 18 years). The independent life skills training for the age group of 16 to 18 years (the project “VIP at the Age of 18”) highlighted the need for an earlier intervention in successfully preparing the emancipation from the placement centres.
